Writing Prompt Options

6th Grade Writing Prompts

Through the year you will have the opportunity to choose two writing prompts during the month.  The writing prompts will be assigned every other week.  You can find the assignment dates in your child’s agenda book, or on my blog’s homework page.

You can handwritten or type these at home and when you are completed you will keep these creative pieces in your accordion, in the labeled section.  I will collect each piece on the Friday that it is due, where I will then take the time over the weekend to read your work.   Every Monday I will be sharing a few pieces that I really enjoyed and share the great techniques that were used.

You are more than welcome to do more than one per week, or pass in early.  Check off the prompt that you have written to keep track.  Keep this packet in your accordion and make a copy for one to stay at home.
